Turn Your Dreams Into Reality Part 4 - Be Stubborn-Focused

Turning your dreams into reality will probably involve your having to make certain "course corrections" along the way. It is essential to your success that you view these as opportunities and learning experiences. Unless your research and early decision making is perfect you will have these opportunities to learn. But will you learn your lessons well? There's a difference between being stubborn-focused and stubborn-stupid. When you are faced with a challenge that seems to change everything, you need to look at your project with fresh eyes, and take a step back if necessary. The way you were proceeding may not have been the best way, which means that you may have to try another way. Many people at this point end up going the "stubborn-stupid" route. You must develop the wisdom to know the difference between a simple speed bump in your progress that can be overcome with perserverance and a needed course change. If what you are doing isn't working, the results won't change simply by doing it more. Be alert. If one door closes, a window nearby opens. Finally, never give up on your dream. Don't view the necessary course corrections get you down. Be stubborn-focused. You'll get there.
