I have heard that the Democrats have decided to organize hundreds of rallies to establish a grass roots movement to support a government option health care program. Grass roots... When the democrats say that they wish to ORGANIZE a "grass roots" program, then it is indeed a "grass roots" program. If ordinary Americans (Republican, Democrat, Independent) express their opposition at Town Hall meetings, it is not "grass roots". It's "astroturf". Interesting, isn't it? |
