Chess - Pure and Simple
By James Emery Vigh of profbruno.com
To me, the game of Chess is one the purest games ever invented. What I mean by pure is that there is no element of chance in this game. Both you and your opponent start off exactly the same way every game, and the outcome is determined by how well you are able to out-wit him or her. The game is at its very best when you have two evenly matched opponents. Its no fun if you are constantly playing people who aren't at least on your level. Like any strategy game though, the way to get better is to play against people who are better than you. |

Chess always intrigued me and at 16 I started to learn the game from my friends father. Unfortunately, work and time were against me and I didn't stick with the learning. My loss. Keep the intel coming. Frederick
